A matter of style

So basically, Nezumi's been posting in the third person ever since she started this journal. The problem is, this is the only place she's doing it now. And honestly, it gets a bit hard to remember to keep doing it the times she posts here. And she worries a bit whether by now it's gotten a bit annoying, or at least jumped the mouse.

What do you think?

It is your journal, and journals have a tendency to evolve with the person behind them.

Mmm, true. Nezumi was mostly looking for opinions, but it seems the consensus so far is give it a rest. Which makes sense given the whole focus of the place has changed.

Bah. One thing Nezumi really wanted to know was if it actually was coming off as tiresome. Which nobody's addressed so far.

Although it is likely she'll quit it anyway, since these days it's not feeling as natural as it was.

I don't find it particularly tiresome, but if you're posting in first person elsewhere, you should here, too, for the ease of it all :)

That's pretty much how Nezumi's looking at it. So it's looking pretty likely that, after years of having an LJ, Nezumi will probably be making this her very last third-person post.
